If that's what 'decimated' means, then you're only allowed to use 'egregious' to mean 'honoured, outstanding' (many such cases).

Enormity is the one that bugs me.

Journeyman?

Eeesh, yeah. You know me well.

That one irritates me, but nothing does as much as inaccurate use of "literally".

Oh, hang on. "I could care less".

Most of these I'm ok with because language evolves and the meanings of words are part of that. "I could care less" isn't that, it's just people not even thinking about what they're saying.

It's been forgotten after all the excitement yesterday but I'd just like to point out to the rest of my H&V colleagues that we now have a 7 point cushion for the Champions League.

I think its a big hell no from the league.

We are  already 7 points behind spurs. Its been a disastrous  start to the season

The gap looks larger than ever. Selling players, poor recruitment and mistakes under gerrad has total killed us

And now?

I've no idea why he brought Gerrard up in that post.

To add to the ecstasy that Villa gave us yesterday, is the knowledge that Man Utd, Spuds, Newcastle and Liverpool will be totally pissed off. They are banking on Champions League revenue for their future plans.

They have probably taken it for granted that Arses, Man City* and Chelski will qualify for Champions League and fourth spot is their best bet (possibly 5th as well). It must really piss them off when Villa win.

Love pissing them off. Long may it continue.  ;D

I'm going to guess Tottenham weren't that pissed off.

They were probalby praying for a draw.

We will qualify for it both on the basis of our league position and by winning the Europa League.

Hopefully.

My spurs supporting mate text ,
Thank you. What a result. I hope you keep challenging for the title.
