If we're being optimistic, he only needs to stay fit until early/mid March. Not a chance he goes the rest of the season without an injury, but with SJM back that's 3 rotation options in that position. You just wheel him our for 'big' games for 60 minutes.

What's Onana's longest stint of starts in a Villa shirt? It feels he doesn't trust his body or has an issue with low-pain threshold.

How likely is it that he's fit for every game for the next 3 months? It ain't realistic.

He needs to deliver a Newcastle esque performance next weekend. If he does with Luiz next to him we will win the midfield battle and a narrow win.
