What an absolutely shite first half

Even the match thread has been insipid.

This tosser on Sky during the half time review never fails to find something negative to say about Villa.

Solid first half. They had some control for 10-15 mins in the middle of the half, but we started better and then in the last 15 mins looked dangerous as we got Roger’s on the ball.

Only one one-on-one Woods vs Torres in the air - looking to avoid that if we can second half.

Duran is a bit frustrating. He’s getting (classic away day) meagre service. But is off the ball work is just slightly below what it needs to be.

That was a tedious watch. Zero quality.
We've played some decent football. Kamara has been imperious. We should of had a penalty.

Decent game so far.

Can see why they have been better defensively and getting results this season.

Rogers a threat but too often makes the wrong decision.

The ref and his mate at the Stockley Park blind school are dismal. But we're well used to it at this stage.

If the first prat misses the incident the second should def pick it up.

Nottingham Forest is not that good but muscles and fighting all over the pitch so difficult to beat.

Hate isn’t the word I should have used. Criticism of Ollie. Not so much on here but on other Villa social media. I don’t care who scores as long as we win.

Duran and Rogers have been like 12 year olds up front. Lots of energy, no quality or end product.

Bit harsh on Rogers, in my view. Duran deffo needs to find a way of contributing more even when he’s not at the centre of the play.

You see, that's why I'm a bit dismissive of people stating Coote's was being kind to Liverpool against us. No, some of these refs are just shit. That VAR decision is a joke. I honestly don't know how that is looked at and not given.

Biggest disappointment is our midfield, other than Bouba they're all on holiday or going through the motions at best.
