Well that was better, much better.

Bit lucky with the third as Ollie looked offside but it makes a nice change for us to be on the right side of a decision like that.

Bailey still losing it too often but played a great ball to Ollie when he got the pen.

Kamara bossing midfield, he's so important for us.

Great performance/score line.  I don't want to hear anything about Mings/Torres as that has played absolutely zero part in the match up to this point.
Load of bollocks . Solid foundations at the back and build from there . They've made a huge difference . Great to have the band back together

Mings and Konsa, by far the best defensive partnership we have. Get Onana and Kamara in front of them and yuri in front of them and we are a team to fear.

Great performance.
McGinn, Rogers and Bailey answering their critics (me included).
Just nothing silly now in the first 10 minutes of the second half.
Mings has been excellent too.

This is so much better. Defensively  Mings doing well. And I really like Rogers' starting position being deeper so we benefit from his running through. Another 45 like that please!

That was a great half. But need to stay frosty. No patented trademark goal conceded just after HT please. I still feel we have it in us to collapse like an England middle order.

much better half

mings looked great when we needed him , kamara was class , rogers has improved so far and even mcgin  and tielmans .

very happy , they all look confident now ,

thou bailey is still a bit weak , easy losing possession at times .

Brentford have been as awful as we have been great.

I think it’s a stretch to draw any conclusion about Mings/Torres, Brentford have produced nothing to threaten the defence (a bit like the Champions League games we’ve won). We’ve done brilliantly, but this doesn’t illustrate anything about the defence.

I think even though Bailey has lost it a few times he’s provided a threat and carried the ball well, I think he’s slowly getting a bit better game by game. Still a way to go yet mind.

The last few games nothing has run for us, every decision has gone against us. Tonight things have fallen nicely.

This back 4 makes us so much more solid, it gives us more confidence when things weren’t  quite coming off in the first ten minutes or so.

Fuck me. So defending well isn’t important.

I’m still shitting it when they try and press at the back.  A fourth and I’ll be okay.
