Hopefully that's the end of the Philogen experiment.

Good to see Mings back. Needs a big performance tonight. 12th in the league is bad enough but we could be even lower.

Please just win!

Delighted to see Mings back and Martinez starting. Fingers crossed it goes well for Mings. Not sure at all about Rogers starting again after his recent performances or Tielemans again at 6.

I want McGinn alongside Kamara and Tielemans, Rogers and Bailey as a three in front of them.

I know what you mean about Rogers, but Emery is seeing him every day so I trust him to call it.  Confidence is massive in sport, and it can turn in a second.  And yes, great to see Mings back in the 1st team for a PL game, I hope he's physically and mentally ready.

On the train to the ground now: soaked through already!  :'(

Glad to see Tyrone's starting: just hope he'll be here, there and every fucking where!

Hope Morgan's new blond hairdo won't make him dumb...

Emi! Yay!

Great to see Tyrone start, the old CD partnership back, going for a Villa win.

Eni Aluko going on about what an important partnership Konsa and Mings was last season. Fucking hell, they actually pay her for this?

thought the drama queens was sayng martinez was out for 8 weeks .

anyway great to see him there and mings to be fair. Maatsen must be a bit pissed off never getting a start and how lucky rogers and mcginn are , they was rubbish last game. To be honest ollie and bailey havent done alot to be a starter but the squad isnt as good as a few mths ago.

The general standard of punditry is so shit it’s unbelievable. Greggggg Evans, actual Villa correspondent for the Athletic until recently, was on about how we’re missing Ramsey from last season on a pod I listened to yesterday. Dan Bardell (who?) corrected him and he sort of styled it out.

Another podcaster said we should sign Semedo from Bournemouth, but at least he’s not getting paid .

Yes, Unai! Been dying to see that backline with Kamara in front of it.

Proof in the pudding now.
