Well, there we go. At least I know I don't have to bother attending Europa league or conference games if we get there next year. Not worth the rip off prices.

I paid £127 in total for me and two of my kids to go to all three Conference League group games last season. A rip off you reckon?

For the standard of football for the conference league vs being prioritised for wembley for the cup games, then yeah, it wouldn't be worth it for me. What you feel comfortable with is up to you as well.

I'm just pointing out many fans chose european football over domestic cup games, which will change going forward I'd imagine. Which is why a points system is probably better overall for the club if they want to prioritise attendance over all competitions.

But it's their choice.

What is good is that some supporters will be able to watch Villa at Wembley for as little as 30 quid a ticket.
I'm glad that the FA Cup criteria for a ticket is detached from the PL and UCL.

I agree the pricing is very good, fair play to the FA (is is the fa who set the prices?).

Should be Season ticket holders with ALL FA Cup games get 1st dibs, then ST holder -1 FA Cup game, etc.... Then down to members with league plus FA Cup in total number order.
With this criteria, a member who has ONLY attended 3 FA cup games IN TOTAL this season, gets ahead in the queue of someone who has paid almost a grand for a 19 game season ticket. It's not right.

I'm 50 later this year, and tbh, even though we're on the crest of a wave footballing-wise, I'm totally disenfranchised with the circus surrrounding the off field stuff. The tickets kept back for hospitality for PSG away, which should have been allocated to fans who've supported the club through thick and thin, this FA Cup criteria bollocks,  Chris Heck and his self-promotional videos - I think I might be pushed past tipping point this summer when the undoubted raise of season ticket prices kick in.

Football is no longer for the working class fan.... at least in the top flight. Some people go on about the 'rocking' atmospheres in the Champions League this season - It's utter nonsense. It's nothing compared to the experiences in the 90s with Tranmere, Inter Milan and Atletico - Just a stadium full of half n half scarf happy clapping 'neutrals'.

I sit in the Trinity and since this Unai era has kicked in, I've noticed a huge increase in non-local well spoken accents in the concourse/stand. We're slowly turning into the very thing we've despised the 'top' clubs for years. One thing I can guarantee, they won't be around the second it all comes crashing down.

Would the final be 30k tickets if we got there?

Would be interesting to see how many members did all 3, I assume the club already know.

As an estimate, how many members have we got? 27K ST holders is the ballpark figure I've seen estimated..Trying to work out the probability for my son when he meets the Wednesday 16th ST criteria, as he's moved to the smoke for work, and not attended a FA cup game this year.

Agree with most of above.......i would say they way the FA Cup pricing and ticket criteria has been set this season it suits those of us that are on a tight budget.....those kind of 'working class' folk the club would probably call us

I am reliably informed we have the East End of Wembley.

I agree with how you say they should have been distributed, I know it keeps being said that a member who’s only been to 3 FA cup games could get tickets ahead of an ST, but actually how likely is it that they have only been to the 3 games, I would think not likely at all, most will have gone to quite a few games at unreasonably high prices

Ive done 13 games this season as a member. Every CL home game, 6 prem games and an FA cup game. I get my chance at the same time as someone who has potentially been to 1 FA cup game (and is a member).

That is genuinely insane.

On the plus side, im in for the CL final 😂

I’m in a similar boat to you.

I’ve been to 15 home games but struggle to make night games, even Friday, as I live in London and don’t have a car. Crucially I’ve missed all 3 FA cup games due to work and work travel. Case in point, I’m typing this at 1am in Saigon as I arrived today for work and will miss both legs of the PSG games. I have absolutely zero chance of a ticket but somebody who has attended the 3 cup games only will get a ticket.

The old Villa vouchers system was much fairer as it was based on total games attended. It won’t be easy from Vietnam but I’ll be trawling random sites and contacts for a Wembley ticket.
