And your opinion is fine. That’s exactly what the forum is for. I called you out for when you did it and how you said it. You immediately assumed the club was going to fuck you and ST holders over. Like they sit around a table planning it. Revenue growth to the extent we need to achieve it because we want to play in the latter stages of the FA cup and CL comes with some things are a bit shit for the regular fan. But you could always wish for the days of lower prices and sitting where you want as we all fucked around at the arse end of the table or the Championship. That was fun wasn’t it?

To be honest, for me it actually was more fun, because I was with people who supported Villa through thick & thin rather than because we’re doing well. Last time we got to a FA Cup semi final we were on the pitch but today, people were leaving to get on their way home once the result wasn’t in doubt. We’re turning into the Arsenal fans we hated in 2015 already & we haven’t even won anything yet.

All these members who deserved to be at this game today more than me because they went to 3 rather than 2 FA cup games this season - where were they last time we played at Deepdale?

The fact that we need to generate this money to compete, only means I blame the game more than Villa, but it’s still shit frankly.

It’s a good day & I am more than happy to be in with a chance of winning the FA Cup. I don’t really want to bring anyone else down with how I feel about it, but the way the club are behaving now means I feel nothing like the joy I did when we did this in 2015 when we were ‘fucking around at the arse end of the table’.

We’ll all be able to go to the open top bus parade.

Mind the bin bags.

Made sense to play the Liverpool game in the first available midweek rather than waiting until later on and potentially causing a greater fixture pile-up. If Villa get to both finals and Tottenham make the Europa League Final it would have been difficult to get all the games in.

Tottenham could have just given us the three points. We have something to play for and they're pointless and their games are just an excuse to either embarass their manager or do their dumb as fuck goal celebrations for twitter.

As ever, you are spot on, Amfy. We might not have been as 'successful' back then but i don't recall any backlash at how fans were treated. Things can change in the blink of an eye, the same fans shouting about economic sensibility may well be wondering why we have no fkin fans if things ever go back that way.

There was plenty of backlash at how shit we were as a club. And how far behind our opponents we’d fallen. Now we are operating at the top end expecting everything else to stay the same isn’t realistic. I fully get that continue to dedicate yourself to something you love isn’t easy. But if we want the best players and to compete for titles then fans ultimately pay a price. Or at minimum we do in the short term. And especially so when our stadium only holds 42k and we’ve been mostly commercially irrelevant for the better part of the last 40 years.

Let's see if Villa fuck season tickets holders over or not now ....

We get through to a SF and that’s where you’re taking this conversation?

It doesn't affect you, we get it 👍

Being lectured by someone who lives in fkin Toronto 🤣

That’s right because us fans who live abroad don’t have an opinion on Villa do we? You’ve been a miserable twat since you started posting here. That comes across clearly whether you live in Toronto or Erdington.

I've been posting here for about 10  years. I've just been more vocal re. stuff that affects us recently. Not that you're suggesting only those with big post counts deserve an opinion, I assume?

Where have I said that? Or even suggested it. It doesn’t matter what my post count is. I couldn’t give a shit about yours. You’ve basically told me my opinion doesn’t count because I don’t live locally. It would be as stupid as me saying your opinion doesn’t matter because of your post count. My point was clear. You decided minutes after the game ended to slag off the club assuming they were going to fuck over ST holders. Not whether or not you’d get one or if you qualified for one. Which I assume there are rules around who gets priority and who doesn’t.

When you said I've been a twat since I started posting here? I clearly haven't as i've only started posting more recently as my unhappiness for how the club is treating fans has gone. It's a forum, and supposed to e for exactly that type of opinion.

The problem is, is you don't seem to post about anything else. We're in a cup semi and quarter final. Enjoy it.

And I'm saying that as someone who's had a moan about it. Let's just see what happens.

I post regularly about Villa on other forums, I've rarely been negative about the club. I post concerns here as it's a large forum and I'd like those concerns heard.

I will wait and see what happens, and if the worse happens, then so be it. But you can't attempt voice concerns after the event can you.

Back in the day when we won trophies you could have gone to every single match and still missed out on Wembley because you didn't collect your programme vouchers.

And shareholders had priority over the season ticket holders.

For the fa cup home games the club have kept the prices low, so if you’re a season ticket holder and you didn’t go to any of the home games then surely it’s your own fault if you miss out? It’s hardly a new thing that those games would be taken into account should we get to Wembley.
