And your opinion is fine. That’s exactly what the forum is for. I called you out for when you did it and how you said it. You immediately assumed the club was going to fuck you and ST holders over. Like they sit around a table planning it. Revenue growth to the extent we need to achieve it because we want to play in the latter stages of the FA cup and CL comes with some things are a bit shit for the regular fan. But you could always wish for the days of lower prices and sitting where you want as we all fucked around at the arse end of the table or the Championship. That was fun wasn’t it?

An utterly disrespectful opinion. Those fans kept the club going in the dark times, none of us wanted it but we did what we could to support the team. I know it's apparently a disgusting opinion here, but it's easy to shit on the people who have gone every week for years if it means success.

Enjoy your success, I suppose.

No it’s an unfortunate reality of wanting to compete at the top end within the current financial rules. It’s ok to hate it. But don’t bury your head in the sand. Even after the massive growth in our revenues the past 18 months we are still barely scraping by the PSR and FFP rules. And maybe as we get more success on the pitch the greater commercial revenues that come with it ease the burden on long standing and loyal fans. It just won’t happen overnight.

And whisper it quietly but it’s probably economically sensible to stick with the precedent and incentivise attending cup games.

Good teams have fixture congestion, shit teams don't.

Of course but the way the schedules have worked where we barely played in March could have been planned better.

Though we did get the Liverpool game out of the way, even if unwillingly.

Yeh there was no real need for it to be played when it was. But yes glad it’s done with.

Man City got 37k last season for their semi, enough to satisfy every ST holder and GA+ (plus their additional seat I’m sure). That should give peace of mind to any ST holders worrying.

Made sense to play the Liverpool game in the first available midweek rather than waiting until later on and potentially causing a greater fixture pile-up. If Villa get to both finals and Tottenham make the Europa League Final it would have been difficult to get all the games in.

Thanks Des. I'd still be pretty worried I won't get a final ticket when someone who potentially attended three home games could do, if we get through.

Exactly. The final if we get there will be different unfortunately because of how tickets are allocated by the FA and the number each club gets.
