I haven’t read all of the thread so maybe this point has been made, or maybe I’m missing the point, but in the 2020 league cup  final, attendance at the other ties in that cup run were definitely taken into account, so not a new thing.
They weren't, not any more than league games

For the Preston game , they should prioritise all fans who were at the 0-2 RDM shit show when despite epic shitness we took 6000 up there to watch Ashley Westwood point as Calum Robinson walked through us to score . Plus it pissed down .

I was there, I don't remember it raining, thought it was pretty sunny?

Yeah it was. Had a very pleasant lunch in Angelo's before the game and like so many others the day went massively downhill at around 3pm. Went back to Angelo's the following year before a slightly better 1-1 draw. Probably drive this time given kick off etc.

A quick catchup. The issue being raised here is that STH with away / cup games gets first pick of PNE away, then MEMBERS with 3 home cups, then STH. So the priority order not going through all STH first rather then attendance at ties is the point. For PNE, they should all go to STH with three home cups, but if they open that same order for any potential Wembley appearances, STH would miss out.

Other than that, his memory is spot on.

I've had a reply from VP. I suspect it's along the same lines of reply that Amfy got but in short, they value Members just as much as ST holders. In some cases, they spend more apparently.

Did RDM get the matches though ? I always thought had a panic on to get back up and he was not given long enough time in charge instead we moved on to Stevie Bruce with expectations go up.

He absolutely did Footy.  I had the miss-fortune to be at all of RDM's matches and confirm he was clueless.  There was no plan, identity. Tactically clueless.  He hasn't managed anyone since.

I got that kind of response as well, I replied thanking them for their admission of guilt and it'll help me should I decide to pursue this further.

I don't mind it being staggered to the season holders that have been to the games that's fair but as had been pointed out it should go to season ticket holders then to members because as Amfy posted that is the benefit they advertised in the season ticket renewal.

Yeah I got a generic shit response too. At this moment I don't feel like renewing my season ticket, after thirty-six years, but I know that's what they're hoping for.

I don't agree that they can use the notified sales criteria to move priorityaway from season ticket holders.

The key is the relative validity of these 2 statements:

'Priority access to away and cup tickets (including Champions League)'

'Attendance at this fixture may be included in any future sales  criteria required for further FA Cup matches'

The season ticket benefit, has total clarity. There is no room to change the meaning of what is said there. It is unequivocal. Most importantly it is first and it was a benefit under which season tickets were sold nearly 6 months before they issued the second statement.

Apart from not being able to see how the second statement is able to undermine the first, the second statement is woolly and unclear. It includes the word 'may' - so it might and it might not affect future sales criteria, and it gives no clue as to how it might affect future sales criteria.

We have previously had season ticket holders who have been to more cup games being able to access tickets ahead of season ticket holders who had been to less cup games. It would be a reasonable of anyone to conclude from that statement that this would be the case again. This cannot be cited as sufficient notification that the terms we bought our season tickets under had changed.

The Preston game is an easy one to let pass, because for those of us that didn't go to all the previous rounds and don't have the usual away history, missing out was always a possibility if not a probability. However, without in any way taking our progression for granted, it needs to be challenged now, because if we do progress, they then have an unchallenged precedent on this distribution strategy, and your season ticket no longer certainly gets you to Wembley, which in all the time I've had one, has been a key reason for it.

I agree, is there any way to raise this with the club?

I'd have been much better off choosing the FA cup games over the CL games, and would have if I knew the criteria would be changed like this.

To do it without warning is an outrage.
