Could we not just scrap the Intl matches? No one likes them.

It's a bit like saying "can we not just scrap lower league football". Not everything in football has to be done just to make life a little bit easier for a couple of dozen rich clubs in Europe.

Mothering Sunday too which gives issues surrounding prioritisation.

This at least means 18 days between Bruges and Preston so hoping for lots of rest for non international players and not much game time for those called up!

Absolutely, but international football is still shit.

Withdrawal symptoms  for me ,  more time in the pub drinking I suppose with less anxiety about the Villa.

As it happens, I don’t mind a bit of international football actually
I like watching football, there’s less stress, and you have to go with what you’ve got It’s more of a level playing field I think

Time to make Mother a committed Villan. Take her out for lunch the day before/Sunday after instead.

You can spend it being anxious about the impending war in Europe...

My comment was slightly tongue in cheek, although Intl football is quite dull.

I agree. Interntaional football is dull. I dont enjoy it anymore. Only the major tournaments.  The nation league lame. And the qualifiers not as enjoyable  as it use to be

Looks as though there’ll be train strikes that day. Wonderful.
