A note of caution: If I remember we drew Oldham away in the quarter finals around the early 90s? I think we lost 3-0! I really thought it was our year then! It's good that this will be played at the end of March, by which time I'd imagine most of the long term injuries will have cleared up. We should have enough on the day to beat Preston.
A horrible low point. A plastic pitch, a hoolie blowing off the moors and a very good Oldham team did for us.

Already a lively thread on our cup draw over on SHA.

Imagine a big thread on here over their cup draw. Try to imagine it. It's like imagining unicorns driving F1 cars round and round the bullring. It just wouldn't happen.

I think they reduced the away allocation slightly for Burnley due to the nature of the fixture. It's a big allocation. I am hopeful.

The only negative aspect of this fixture is that I wanted it to be the Final!

The same Burnley that have kept loads of clean sheets this season only to let in three at PNE.

I actually think that Man City at home in the Quarter Final would have given us our bestcroute to actually winning the thing. However, can't complain. Also, it's nice to note that in 1896/97, when we won the League and the FACup double, Preston were the team we beat in the Quarter Final.

Our draws in cups this season have been very favourable. Which is nice.

Apparently Burnley played an under strength side to concentrate in the league. I'd have been fuming if I was them!

yep was their with my late mate and was the coldest night ever,  stuck in the bloody car park for ages too , depressing .  Think it was Andy Ritchie for them.

It's depressing but it's only a few million in the FAC, and what. 170m to make the PL?

FFS, I bet we get Man United and then Rashford won't be able to play for us. What a stupid rule that is.

Ooh, KKH can't play against us, that's a great rule.
