Home draws last time we went all the way to the final 10 years ago.
another home draw and it’s a sign.
Very annoying the draw isn’t just now as was expecting it now.

Brighton can play Bournemouth for south coast bragging rights.
The two scummy clubs can play one another so we don't have to hear anymore talk of yet another all-Manc final.
Palace can go to Forest, where hopefully they'll get knocked out so we don't have to face them again this season.
We are drawn at home to PNE.

I like this prediction!

Nicely done sir!

A sign we'll get to the final and produce one of the most embarrassing performances in cup final history?

They are balls dropped out of a bag…nothing more, nothing less.

I agree with this but the way the balls land and get shuffled is also a factor

As number 2 the balls will be poured in and we one of the first to be entering the hat .

Now after the shuffle there is a good chance we’ll be draw out within the first two ties.

1. Preston North
2. Aston Villa
3. Crystal Palace
4. Manchester United or Fulham
5. Brighton & Hove Albion
6. AFC Bournemouth
7. Manchester City
8. Nottingham Forest/Ipswich Town

Its all 6’s and 7s the way do the draw shuffle so I’ll have to merely guess it’ll be Bournemouth or Manchester City

As I mentioned to you in the last round, predicting we might be drawn out in the first two rounds is a 50/50 chance, which isn't much insight.
here’s some insight
working theory

Anyway I think i’ve worked the draw out.
The ties played over weekend 29th March
So it could well be arranged that Villa will play brighton because we play them on 1st April as well.
if it’s not then then Forest who we play on 5th April

They often arrange fixtures that are the same as the league as the working theory if that’s right ?! then cracked the draw!

This tends to happen on latter stages especially but can happen any round

If as a collective we let either of those sub-par Manchester clubs win the thing this year, we should all be put out of business.

Massive opportunity to get a different name on the cup.

After the Man U game, so 10pm if they're trailing.

Preston is the obvious choice at this point, but I just hope we get drawn at home.  An away tie to any of those left in looks tricky on paper.

Actually, I really hope we draw Man Utd if they’re still in.  They’re shite.
