Given their draws to date, C115y will be at home to Preston.  We therefore need to decide what the next best outcome is.

I fancy we could beat any of the other remaining teams, as long as we're at home.

Think this will be Preston's first FA Cup Quarter Final since 1966!

Am I right in thinking that Villa Park has hosted only 1 FA Cup Quarter Final in over 60 years?

Pretty sure we had 8 away draws in a row, non of which went to a replay. The sequence was broken by the home draw against the Baggies in 2015.

It will be. I was also surprised that yesterday was the first time Preston and Burnley had met in the FA Cup.

Newcastle v Man City, Man Utd v Forest, Villa v Preston, Crystal P v Bournemouth. That would be the dream draw should all favourites go through today.

We have been in a lot of trouble with the family for missing our niece’s ’Baby shower’ for this game. Mr amfy’s mother is 92 & has been going to PNE for 77 years.

They reckon it was ‘just one game’ & we could just go to the next one, but a derby in the 5th round, to see them make the quarter finals for the first time in 59 years?  I think there’ll be another baby before we get the chance to see that again!

Well done Preston for seeing off Burnley in normal time so we were able to put in an appearance but it would have been worth it anyway. My MIL just kept saying ‘I just can’t believe it!’

Yes - I have definitely had worse FA Cup weekends!

Superb stuff, amfy.

A Villa/Preston Qtr final would be superb, two of the founders.

It's a good shout to sugggest we'll get an away draw at one of our bogey grounds, Man City, Man United, Palace or Newcastle.

Also a rerun of the 1960 quarter final with nearly 70k in Villa Park. Look at the attendances across all the quarter finals: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1959%E2%80%9360_FA_Cup

Couple of derbies thrown in for good measure.
