I have to admit I'm a tad worried, the Cardiff fans seemed absolutely delighted with the draw, maybe they know something we don't!

We've played Cardiff three times previously in the FAC. Lost 2-1 away 1927, won 6-1 at home 1929, lost 2-1 at home 1949.

The old adage which I grew up with and I’ve seen John Russell mention “The team that beats the Villa wins the Cup”

It was certainly true in 1927.

It certainly happened a fair few times!

Just looked at Oddschecker. We're still 8/1 despite the home draw & the odds for the 2 Manchesters & Newcastle have shortened.

We're the under the radar specialists again!

BTW, Hi again Dinas!

I do.  Man United getting 50 of their last 57 cup draws at home.
Oh no , it's just coincidence  :)
It IS a coincidence, nothing more. Suggestion of any thing else is pathetically obsessive nonsense.

But I remember seeing Leighton Phillios play - Hitchens was well before my time.
