I never want to watch the One Show ever again. You can see Alex Scott’s eyes move as she reads the autocue and she tutted when Villa got a home draw!
It really was painful having to suffer that shallow, pointless guff even for a few mins, wasn’t it ?

The One Show AND Alex Scott. Television to make your eyes bleed. Happy with the draw, a third home game after years of having been drawn away.

The El Ghazi derby. Happy with that.

How close is it to Champions League matches? My paranoia that Unai treats it too lightly! Of course we’ll be fine!

Weekend before first leg of last 16. So we'll play a weakened team, we'll all say "they should be good enough to do the job" and then we'll flop.

Now I've said it out loud it can't happen right?

So we want to be playing Friday night then?

I never watch that pile utter garbage either and that's the last time until next year's 5th round draw hopefully.

Anyway, happy with the draw, that's the main thing.

The Peter Whittingham derby

I hope we invite his family from Nuneaton as special guests!

Cardiff play the Wednesday before so it won't be on the Friday. Villa could have to play the Tuesday after so you'd assume it won't be on Sunday or Monday, either. Should be Saturday then. Expect an 8pm kick-off for maximum inconvenience.

We're at home to a side 19th in the second tier, don't think we can say much about favourable draws for other clubs.

If you want a laugh there is already a thread about Cardiff giving Villa a bye over on SHA.  I mean once my team is out I never bother to watch the draws.  They do though.
Truly we live rent free in their heads!  ;)

Well, we can. As we have clearly had less favourable draws than Manchester City in every round.

You'd imagine a few of the injured brigade will be available by March to cope with 2 big cup games so close together.

Does anyone have our next 6 weeks of fixtures in summary form? The Beeb didn't even have our rescheduled game with Liverpool updated on their website earlier.
