Agree with the fact that this is a cynical attempt to extract more cash from us consumers.
I do wonder though if this means that UE will now feel obliged to try and win it or will continue to focus on playing as many CL games ans possible and consolidating our mid table credentials.

I think he’ll resign before he’s forced to change his priorities.

It won’t be good “ optics” though if they go full bullshit throttle in front of a TV audience FA Cup glamour Tie proud history bollocks and then play the reserves.
I have just seen the LinkedIn promotion which is very much in line with these thoughts.
All we do know is Heck could not care less.

That's Heck's problem, not Unai's. Unai runs the team and Unai is responsible for most of the good things that have happened. The off the field stuff, including this decision, well...

I mean, Spurs had an anniversary strip for a league game against us in 2008

One of the matches which has made me most angry in the last 25 years.

I was watching that with a Spurs fan too.

I’ve still got the flag they gave to Villa fans. I was working with a Spurs fan at the time and I intended to take it into work the next day for him to give to his son but soon as I stepped into the office the fella started taking the piss over the result so I kept the flag. Still in the bottom of my wardrobe. That’ll learn him never to mess with me again.

I think it's a cynical attempt to get Unai to play a full-strength team and get our FA Cup winning run going. Thank you, Chris Heck!

With the run of games we have, there is no way we'll be full strength...

So was i. its hard to forget we actually drew the game as it felt like a loss. Harewood single handingly gave spurs the help they needed.

He was a absolute joke in that game

British.
Knows the league.
Doesn't require any actual scouting.
Might not be any good.

Ticks all the O'Neill boxes.

As we left the ground after losing a 3-goal lead, Spurs fans mocked us with "4-1 and you f*cked it up." The following season, after we'd won 1-0, our fans chanted "0-0 and you f*cked it up"
