It won’t be good “ optics” though if they go full bullshit throttle in front of a TV audience FA Cup glamour Tie proud history bollocks and then play the reserves.
I have just seen the LinkedIn promotion which is very much in line with these thoughts.

 I’ve still got the flag they gave to Villa fans. I was working with a Spurs fan at the time and I intended to take it into work the next day for him to give to his son but soon as I stepped into the office the fella started taking the piss over the result so I kept the flag. As we left the ground after losing a 3-goal lead, Spurs fans mocked us with "4-1 and you f*cked it up." The following season, after we'd won 1-0, our fans chanted "0-0 and you f*cked it up"
