If it’s any consolation they’re not looking forward  to it either.

Traditional incredibly easy Chelsea home draw.

It does seem that way.

*No doubt someone will have the stats to show that it's not the case.

2025 Morecambe (h)
2024 Preston (h)
2023 Man City (a)
2022 Chesterfield (h)
2021 Morecambe (h)
2020 Forest (h)
2019 Forest (h)
2018 Norwich (h)
2017 Peterborough (h)
2016 Scụnthorpe (h)
2015 Watford (h)

So in the last eleven years they've played one FA Cup Third Round away game and one against a team in the top flight.

Tough game for us. I suspect Lopetugi will not dare do anything other than put of their very best starting XI, and they will bring a very big following to VP.

West Ham play the following Tuesday so our game won't be on Sunday (or Monday).
Friday night possibly

Not possible, as stated. I'm busy that day.

To be honest - Ive got to the point that I think we'll contrive to lose whoever we play.

At least going out in an "All Premier League Clash" has more respect than some of them.

I suppose if you were them, there's no more "bound to score" opponent than Durán. Although if Watkins keeps underperforming he will probably be relegated to our "cup team" and be starting here instead.

Not counting the all-Premier League ties, I make that 13 Premier League teams at home and only 3 away. Boring as fuck.

Its the normal formale

A few all prem ties - Stops it looking fixed

Plenty of big teams against minows - ensures big teams make it to the later rounds

One "big" tie with 2 sky 6 teams facing off.
