Bristol Rovers at home please. I’d buy a half-and-half scarf for that game

It would be a half-and-two-quarters scarf for that one.

I would take that. Dont think we have played them in my lifetime

You must be very young then. I was there for an FA Cup game under McCleish.

When we played them at their place in the League Cup in 1970 we were a few minutes late getting in. It was packed but we saw an oddly vacant spot right down the front. We made our way there and spent the rest of the game standing in four inches of water. We got wet as well.

Given that we will play away games at Everton, Arsenal and Monaco all within 10 days or so of the FA Cup game, someone at the club will decide it's a good idea to rotate nearly all the players. Also we won't have signed anyone either.

So in that scenario, I would only have any confidence if we played one of the non-league sides or Harrogate or Morecambe. However, then we may well repeat a huge rotation in Round 4 anyway and then go out meekly.

I honestly don't think it matters who we get as we will play the un-match fit, un-harmonised squad players.

This is where the Sky 6 benefit from having a vastly superior income. They can be shit for a few years and still afford to spend hundreds of million on squad players which they can use to win cups or play in Europe (Chelsea). Whilst we are selling our record signing and replacing him with an academy player from the Championship.

Grrrrr..

Anyway, let's have a home tie please.

As it is going to be low on our priority list, let’s hope for a meek exit causing no injuries ,fatigue or damage to our already low in confidence squad.

I can't hope for a meek defeat even though, it's bound to happen.

Hope we lose?
It was a bit tongue in cheek,
But I  know we are not going to try to win it, so we might as well get it over with.

As it stands form-wise, if we get a potential banana skin lower league opponent, it will be televised.

Worse than an OT Anfield WHL wank fest?

Actually, that's a good point!  Shudder.

I want to draw the Rags and destroy them.

I don't because the reality is we will not be at full strength and that always opens a window of opportunity for the opposition.

Emery's hand will be forced if we get drawn against them.  If he treats it as a nuisance and fields a weaker side that gets beaten, the (admittedly quiet at the moment) calls for his departure will get louder.

Louder?  You mean there are 'audible' calls now?
