Chelsea vs Aston Villa pre-match thread
« on: November 28, 2024, 09:30:15 PM »
Sunday, 1:30pm kick-off.

Time to win.

Chelsea are punching above their weight and we are underperforming.

The turnaround starts here.

3-0 Villa.

Feeling strangely confident for this one. Think we'll get a result but it'll most likely be a draw.

Mings isn’t starting ahead of Torres and nor should he.

Torres and Rogers need a breather . Mings takes care of Jacko .
I'd sit McGinn onto Palmer as a strategic move this game .

Father in law is a mouthy Chavski supporter who's highly confident that they're going to be in the Champions league next year. I fear he's going to be celebrating on Sunday evening.

Is JJ still out?

we need him back soon as Rogers needs benching.

Think if onana comes in with kamara then push Youri forward.

fancy a 1 0 to us .

It doesn't seem that long ago when we were playing at the top of our game and I believed we could beat anyone. The spark has gone, and when I look at Chelsea they are quicker and playing above themselves, I hope more than I believe.

Indeed, that Torres point is illustrative of personal bias.

This will be really tough, Chelsea have the players to cause us plenty of problems at our best. It’s really important we’re clinical with chances and we get something here.
