If this was Gerrard he would’ve been getting pelters for this.  Next week is going to be a disaster.

Tactically outthought there

They have a back line of 5 and then 5 in central midfield and we are struggling to play through them

Team of absolute useless twats. Fuck off. Didn't Dean Smith get the sack after five defeats? Gerrard after an appalling performance like this?

I get that emotions run high during a match thread and you aren't the most patient of Villa fans Risso but did you seriously just suggest the manager should be binned?

Why didn’t you post after we scored?

My 3 year old had locked himself in the toilet.

Tell him we’ll get better second half, no need to do that.

I'm going to swap places with him.

Apparently Unai has been spending even longer than usual watching videos this week in preparation.

Videos of what, they didn’t say.

Crikey. I hope our playing this badly isn’t ‘more or less’ part of the plan again.

Sarr totally ripped us to shreds on the break twice.

I actually don't think we've been that bad but we're at the stage of the season where we're not scoring when we have momentum and then we give a stupid goal away. Score the penalty and it's a decent enough half.

Rogers constantly giving the ball away and Bailey being hit and miss with his end product is one of the reasons we're not close to last season's levels currently.

I still think we'll win this but obviously need a early second half goal, could be a bit like the Wolves match.

Just me who thought Henderson looked way off his line when making the save, interested to see a replay if he was on the goal line when it was struck.

What a horrible cxnt that Will Hughes is, raking his studs down a fellow professional's Achilles' heel.

He deserves to have studs raked across his face.

Would be an improvement.

Teams are more likely to score from our set plays than us.

Yes because he was demonstrably shite. Emery has been the polar opposite for two chuffing years. It has been a shite month and it is disappointing to see us repeat the same mistakes over and over. But this sort of nonsense is laughable.

Problems all over the pitch, nobody on form, totally naive defensively. This is starting to make me worry

Serious questions need to be asked of Unai now. If we lose this they need to seriously consider if he's the man for us. Not really.
