bloody internationals

Bailey flying back from USA too , no idea what he is going to be like.

Any chance of him flying down the wing for us in the near future?

Nobody knows but most historians seem to think we were probably founded on 21 November 1874, so unless I'm missing something there doesn't appear to be any plans to celebrate the 150 years on Saturday, so it looks like they are probably gonna to it at the end of the season. I have checked and we celebrated our 140th Anniversary on 24 Nov 2014, I remember it was a match Sky moved to a Monday night.

I thought Bailey had retired himself from Jamaica games.

The evidence for Villa being founded on 21st November is somewhere between flimsy and non-existant. It's not a good anniversary for Brummies and I'd rather not "celebrate" it.

He'll have been on the 'mannish water' for the past week, he's bound to score.

Most historians who've researched the subject say that date was highly unlikely.

What did our "very knowledgeable" ex-club historian chip in with for the founding date?

I don't think he did, if you mean John Lerwill. It was Trevor Fisher who came up with 21st November IIRC.

The football calendar/scheduling is a joke. Martinez will be finishing his game around 2am on Thursday morning our time and it's a 13 hour or so flight back to the UK.
Anyway we'll beat Palace but only narrowly, 2 1 - Watkins and Rogers.
