Needed a couple of wise heads in the last ten minutes to slow it down and win fouls, not concede them. Unfortunately McGinn was off the pitch, he's probably not a 90 minute player for us no more.

Bournemouth kept threatening and deserved it. Disappointing that Emery couldn't change the flow. As someone said, on here yesterday, Iraola is possibly our next manager. Decent audition from him.
It was a poor result, but i'd give Unai at least the Spurs game

Easily the better side by a country mile all game.not buying all this Bournemouth deserved their point, they were shite and reliant on their keeper.

Those last 6 minutes were fucking brainless. We comfortably beat their press all game, so why are we knocking it long? They've created nothing from open play and not had an attempt on target second half, so why are we diving in, with men on the cover, to give them the percentage ball into the box? Stay on your fucking feet.

Emery will go mental. 2 points dropped.

Very frustrating and 2 points dropped, but there was a time when letting in injury time 'sickeners' seemed to be a regular occurrence. The last year or so it's been us getting the late goal, so we just have to take this one on the chin. I said before these 3 games that 5 points would be a decent return, so it's up to the team to get a win and draw in the next two.

Sooner Cash is sold the better.
They where driving down his side all afternoon especially after we scored. Unai did nothing about it. Not first match this happen, cant understand Unai dont see it. IMO has been costing us for long time. That said the whole team wasnt set up properly for defending 1-0 at home, we should  have been much more cynical holding the ball not rushing to attack when got the ball, putting on some CB late on and the like.  Letting in goals like today and at Ipswich coupled with not being clinical in scoring make us second best to the top teams. We are joy to watch going forward though.

We have dropped some points sloppily this year. Could be the European demands, not sure, but we need to be sharper with our chances. Next two games are tough.

Massively disappointing to lose two points to a 96th minute equaliser, but at the end of the day, their goalie was MotM, which says a lot that even on a day when we weren't great, they still needed their goalie to play a blinder to keep them in it.

It's going to look bad on paper, but I didn't think we played THAT badly, particularly in the second half.  Not great, but certainly not a bad performance, and if we'd seen out the win no one would say it was undeserved.

We just need to make sure we turn up properly in the next two games...

Meh, very very annoying, these will happen over a season. And they are pretty good Bournemouth, so that's the way it goes.

Cash though...man, this is starting to look like a habit.

It’s now our fixtures start to get tough, it’ll be interesting to see if it drives us to raise our level.

Bournemouth looked a limited side who didn't lay a glove on us, until we gave them free kicks in the last 6 minutes, because we decided we no longer wanted to pass our way through their weak press as we had done for the previous 90.

Emery will strip fucking paint off the dressing room for that. You can't be dropping too many points at home like that.

A disappointing end to a really badly refereeing performance. 47 yellows and 3 reds in 6 games shows this referee to be incompetent.
He made  rod for his own back. The game was not a dirty game a couple of stupid fouls which could have been dealt with a talking too. A normal ref would have probably given maybe 3 yellow cards today.
The Villa performance wasn’t bad. We need the same energy from both team and crowd as we have in the CL games. Morgan looked knackered both mentally and physically and he wasn’t the only one.
It’s tough but they need to be motivated at the same level to play Bayern or Bournemouth. We all knew how that would end. At one time we all thought we would lose that to a spawns one nil.

I think we lack a bit of composure / good decision making at both ends of the pitch.  Watkins and Duran are doing well, but  Bailey is off form, and Ramseys and Rogers are great but there decision making needs improvement.  Really we should have had this won in the first 30 mins today

At the other end - we should be able to knock the ball around at the back for the last 10 minutes rather than resorting to that.  So frustrating - particularly as we have a full squad - albeit with some coming back.  Hopefully it doesnt cost us in the long term but there will be times this season when we will have excuses for dropping points, but today and Ipswich werent those games.

Exactly as I see it. Frustrating but it’s a fortunate point for them.
