I don't know what they were whinging about on the first one. Konsa caught him but he'd already made the fair tackle, it was just a coming together.

Also, only 3 mins injury time? I mean, I welcomed it but that would have been 10 in the Prem.

Konsa had full control of the ball, made a pass and their player ran into him I can't understand for one second what they were moaning about. Pathetic

I said after the Bayern game we look like a Champions League team. It really suits us. We were terrific.

Morgan Rogers- just Wow! What a sublime player, this lad has the lot.

The rest weren’t bad either.

Amazing times to be a Villa fan, God knows we’ve waited for this, bloody awesome.

Just a game we had to be patient in and the goals would come and so they would.

Frightening how comfortable we've looked against Young Boys and Bologna. Perhaps they're two of the weaker teams in the competition but we strolled it tonight and made both look not that much better than what we were facing in the Conference league.

Also did it changing 3/4 of our key players. We certainly have the squad to challenge on three fronts imo as I would expect this type of team to play Palace next week.

Top of the (CL) league!

Special mention to Carlos, he’s been superb since the Ipswich game.

Pleased for him, he was getting a lot of stick.

He wouldn’t get so much stick if people could remember football matches, count, or correlate.

He's great but his shooting is poor. He's like the Brazilian Ronaldo who doesn't score.

Rogers performances just get better and better , players bouncing off him as he gets and controls the balls and turns into the fast lane . A joy to watch this

Morgan Rogers, going from Boro in the second flight, to where he is now, starting week in week out, and looking such a fucking good player, what an amazing turn of events.

We just have quality all over the pitch and on the bench, too.

To think, we've achieved the last season without Mings, Kamara and Buendia, too. Mindblowing.

Excellent night's work. Some of the most flowing football of the season so far.
We are quite a handful.
Onwards and upwards!!

I know we're in a positive place, injury wise, at the moment, but what a luxury it is to be able to make a pile of changes from the weekend, and then make 5 really good substitutions during the match too, and have really good players left over still!

Harsh. He’s 22 played a handful of games in the top flight, yes he can improve his finishing, but every indication is he will improve.

There’s not many players in the Premier League I’d swap him for.
