Job well done , perhaps should have been more emphatic. Bologna were niggly dirts sorts like classic Italian teams . Rogers was fantastic as was Carlos again . MOTM Rogers for me , what a talent .

Superb, just superb. Everyone of them deserves praise but I thought Maatsen just edged it for MOM followed closely by Tielemans. Arguably our best performance of the season I thought. Some of the football tonight was fabulous

What's mad about the Villa situation is I still don't think their 11 tonight is much better than ours: McGinn, Rogers, Bailey, Tielemans, Onana, Maatsen, Carlos.

Emery is absolutely brilliant at building a system that's worked for them. With Martinez, Torres, Watkins/Duran he's got real quality.

It's reminiscent of Nuno IMO. Their collective has far outweighed their individual quality. But fair play. ****s.

Very telling that Unai is happy switching the entire front 6 around, apart from one player - Rogers. He plays. And we win.

He has the tools to be one of the very best players in the world - the X factor that will take us to the next level - Arsenal, Bayern, he’s been the best player on the pitch in every single game this year.

The only weakness right now (22 years old!) in his game is his finishing.. when that clicks I fully believe he could take us to trophies, and I think Emery believes this too based on how he is basically building the team around him at this point.

I don't know what they were whinging about on the first one. Konsa caught him but he'd already made the fair tackle, it was just a coming together.

Also, only 3 mins injury time? I mean, I welcomed it but that would have been 10 in the Prem.

Carlos was ace, that pass that led to the second was majestic.

I love how he’s turning it round. Nothing warms a fan’s heart more.

Very good all-round performance, especially second half. I love watching Emery’s Villa.

Special mention to Carlos, he’s been superb since the Ipswich game.
