And, although I stand to be corrected, the punishment so far for that incident, is absolutely fuck all.

My experience is that both the national and county FA (who have responsibility for discipline) are happy to have it look like they are doing something by promoting various discipline 'hooplas' but when it comes down to it, they don't want to know and want incidents just swept under the carpet.

The Police were called so is it still a Judicial matter or is that resolved now? The FA normally awaits court cases etc before they do any punishments so there is no prejudice potential for the former.
