Diego Llorente from Betis getting mentioned again as a possible signing in January. He does have Prem experience I guess.

Somehow our Bluenose loving comrade has had his login hacked by Footy.

It wasn't that hard to guess the password was 'ILuvJezza'.

Cant see us buying anyone in January with the PSR (or whatever they are called issues) - may get a player in on loan

What PSR issues?

Indeed.  I wasn't aware we had any issues?

If that is the guy who was at Leeds, I'd say a big "No thanks". Mistakes a-go-go.

It's not like us to bring in centre backs who make lots of mistakes is it?

I'm all for looking for a Cash upgrade, but whoever we bring in will likely have Ned as his back-up next season.
The lad at Newcastle - Livramento - looks like the real deal to me.

Very good player i agree. They planned well had trippier as 1st choice for 12 months then had livramento take over

Most Newcastle fans wouldn't think that worked out too well - Trippier has been a car crash waiting to happen for more than a season now.

Assuming we see a big future for Ned, I'd be wary of chucking huge money at a right-back.

I wonder if someone like Kyle Walker-Peters might be the answer. Out of contract in the summer, still only 27. Always seems to have done very well for Southampton even when they've been rubbish. Will almost certainly leave for someone in the top half.

Ned goes on loan to top-end Championship to play every game (Ipswich looks like a good fit for him / us), Walker-Peters / Cash / Konsa at right-back next season, Cash then goes the following summer for a few million with a year left on his contract and hopefully Ned is now good enough to challenge Walker-Peters for first choice.

Walker-Peters had Emery right back written all over him. I was surprised we didn't go for him when they were relegated.

It's really gone under the radar but KKH seems to be doing really well at Preston - https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/preston-north-end-kaine-kesler-hayden-hailed-amid-potential-aston-villa-january-concern/.

Very interesting and good to hear. Yes, he's absolutely gone under the radar, while we've been monitoring Illing, Barry and Barrenechea more closely.

I still never understood why we loaned him. He looked decent. Think he would have done better than bogarde has at rb. Dont think unai thinks  neds ready either
