It's not a good look.

I was set on getting a Juve ticket but I'm not going to bother now and I'll just leave it to the day and see if I can get a cheap one, same goes for Celtic.

Demand for those two fixtures, Celtic mainly, will be more but if we have qualified for the next stage that will ultimately see demand drop off.

Can someone explain to a simpleton like me how tickets are so cheap for tonight on resale? Fans who just can't go any more? Bots?

Does this open the door for Celtic fans to buy tickets in home areas? Will get messy if so..

A very quick search throws up this site selling tickets for around £30 - £45 each https://seatpick.com/aston-villa-vs-bologna-champions-league-tickets/event/318170

Looks to me like these are tickets the club couldn’t sell, so are trying to do it through a resale site. Rather than pricing them sensibly in the first place.

Clubs are in no way allowed to use resale sites are they? would completely undermine every facet of ticket purchasing

I know fans aren’t suppose to, but where does it say clubs can’t shift unsold ones? There’s something morally dodgy, but the tickets are the clubs to do with what they want. Hence charging £3bn for a couple of pints and a big bag of Skittles in GA+.

I wonder then if some of these tickets are ones that on the club site are available only for hospitality, at £149+.

Seatpick say that all tickets sold through their site are by individuals or 3rd party companies and not the club.

Seatpick are an aggregator site. They don’t sell any tickets.

From what I'm reading unless stated that they are legit partner sites or authroized then it is illegal

Then we are either breaking the law, or we’ve randomly seen 100s of half price tickets appear online in the last few hours.

Maybe everyone with an unwanted ticket has decided to sell it on at the same time.

Surely just touts/bots having to take a hit?

Hasn't it been set up so that individuals cannot sell on tickets that they have bought from the club?

I thought so. Also, is it not difficult for touts to get their hands on tickets, given the fan criteria needed?
