Just to get the juices flowing. https://x.com/BolognaFC1909en/status/1848470176523502016

I think they're in the 'stay in B6' camp. https://x.com/BolognaFC1909en/status/1848448958378733651

They look like they're here to move furniture.

Hopefully it's us that are on top of the table tomorrow night.

I’d go with

Martinez
Cash
Konsa
Pau
Maatsen
Tielemans
McGinn
Onana
Rogers
Buendia
Duran

With Ramsey finally showing a bit of form and fitness, Id be surprised if he didn't start. The dreaded Konsa at RB option might return, Carlos has recovered well from the debacle at Ipswich and I'm sure Emery will want to manage Cash's minutes. I also think it's a good time for Maatsen and Duran to start.

Dreaded by other teams’ left-wingers, and people who hate Villa keeping clean sheets and love opposition penalties. And Villa Tim of course.

Strangely, not dreaded by well-known football illiterate Unai Emery.

Listened to the Bologna press conference.

Sounds like they have taken the Bayern game as their template for Villa, in that "they let you have the ball and sit in a low block, waiting to force mistakes so that they can attack the space behind" and "they're happy to let you have the ball, to let you play".

Not sure that's how we'll be approaching the game at all, though it is a good description of the Bayern game.

It is a shame that the game will not be a sell out in the Villa sections of the ground, and I am sure that the owners and Mr. Emery and the players will be disappointed to see the empty seats, but hopefully all the Villa fans who will be at the game tonight (me included) will roar the team on to victory.

Serenaded the kids before they went to school. One covered her ears and said ‘too loud’, the other burst out laughing. Anyway, lets get ready:

Yeah I saw this, thought it was weird. Feel like Thiago Motta wouldn't have made a sweeping analysis after one particularly unusual game. Well, they're in for a surprise is all I can say.

More like a glass of albana and a chorus of 'Modena! Modena! Give us back our bucket!'

I’m overly confident on this one, which concerns me.

I’d be surprised if he has, we’re not playing Juventus yet.

I think Monty knows that - he's saying that's not how the previous, better coaching set-up would be reading the situation.

Yeah they've lost almost everything that got them fourth last year, including (especially) the manager.

Perfect description for Italians that.

The French would meander.

Germans would probably march.

Just because they're wearing super tight trousers 5" too short, no socks and loafers doesn't necessarily mean that they're Ital....Oh wait, it does.
