I think Diego is one of those players who needs a string of games to get into the groove. Coming in cold he can be a liability.

Won’t surprise me to see him start Tuesday.

Very good.

The fact he's had 3 top class games in a row makes the inevitable goal-conceding mistake all the more frustrating, cause you see how good (and consistent) he can be when he's on it.

Other times he looks like he’s on a Holiday.

When he's good, he's very, very good.

My impression is that he can lose concentration in low key games.

When he plays well it justifies my love for him.

Players like Diego and Matty who have that in them are the first ones who get sacrificed as we rise.

Very good.

And a little quirk of narrative, he nearly went to Fulham in the summer. But they bought Andersen instead, who's also done his bit to help us today.
