He's turning around and trying to keep his balance, which makes it a perfectly 'natural' position I think. Plenty of situations in which an outstretched arm is natural. Let the record show I've been critical of Cash before but this time I think he's been a bit hard done by.

I can see both sides but I think Jimenez deliberately played it into his arm which always makes me think it's soft.
