Did he think the ball didn't hit the arm because they had stated that VAR was going to be less input in the game and we have definitely been on the end of that ruling this season. So for them to rule him going to have a look, I can't see any other reason for the check but he stated it didn't hit. If he saw it did, then they can't call it a clear and obvious error.
