We produce a lot of cheese but it doesnt feature heavily in our meals (beyond cheddar).  We almost have a reverse snobbery about food - in terms of everyone elses is better.

I eat lots of cheese that isn't cheddar.

Maybe you're just old fashioned?

No sorry - thats not what I mean.  I eat a lot of different uk produced cheese - but its not celebrated in the same way as it is in other countries. (Or at leasts that my perception).  Its not used in reciepes and meals to the same extent

To me Stilton is the king of cheeses, shortly followed by Brie.

Red Leicester is another favourite - I lived in leicester for a while, and in somerset for a big part my life, and I always thought it funny the way that Cheddar and Red Leicester were interchanged as being the "go-to" cheese.

Ive never really got Mozzorella or Burrata.  Dont mind it cooked, but I went to uni with a girl who would eat Mozzeralla like an apple - never understood.

Stilton with Christmas Cake and port.  Worth the heartburn that keeps you up all night

Fulham won 2 drawn one at home this season
Beat Newcastle 3-1 in last home match.
Former Villa man Adama and nearly villa man Smith Rowe are form players providing goals and assists and Raul seems to be in form scoring 4 already this season

Swap the Chaource for Comte and I’m with you.

I really enjoyed the food snobbery chat and a bit of history on Italian cuisine. I knew this genius thread would work out.

I'm making Bologna a grudge match because of all the hateful middle-class people I've met over the years, after a fortnight on holiday in Italy, who've told me that what we call spaghetti Bolognese doesn't actually exist in Italy, and that nobody drinks a cappuccino after 11am there. WHO CARES?! We have a tomatoey dish called spaghetti Bolognese, live with it. We put cream in a carbonara, fucking deal with it. And if someone is mental enough to want a coffee in the afternoon, let them fucking deal with it again.

Italy's contributions to frothy coffee of latte and cappuccino are shit anyway. Both far too much milk compared to espresso. The Aussie flat white and Spanish cortado are far superior. And you don't get anybody from Oz telling you when you can and can't drink a flat white.

The cappuccino is better than flat white, but I agree that the cortado is the best one.
