Why stop there? Reach for the sky

I voted no. I’m not sure what for but I know it’s very important to use one’s vote.

I do quite like having sky though (the infinite blue space, not the TV thing, still boycott that since the Wapping shenanigans that affected a mate’s Dad. Might weaken though).

I note
Quote
Bolognese is a dialect of Emilian spoken in Bologna and its hinterland

Perhaps we could restrict the thread to posts in Little or Big Emilian?

Or photos of celeb fans cooking Bolognese within a 5 mile radius of the Fulham ground?

Time for a sabbatical…

It's brilliant and, as it happens, on BBC4 right now. I also rate "The War Game".

Slightly less harrowing than the thought of this thread continuing for 2 weeks

Bologna is twinned with Coventry so I would expect SOTV flags to be making their way down Jimmy Hill Way in a show of supporter solidarity. Chinny Hill was of course most associated with Coventry and Fulham.

Bologna coach is called Vincenzo Italiano.
I wonder if there are other managers with the name of their country managing in their country ?

Domenico Tedesco is an Italian who grew up in Germany and has managed both Leipzig and Schalke

(Tedesco is the italian word for German)

Three teams on the pitch at the same time... Will this be like one of those olden days games when the whole village ran around the green, chasing a bundled-up spherical pig-skin, gouging and fingering each other?

I certainly hope so. There is, at least, a Villa link to such events.

And being a raving cheating bastard to relegate Sunderland.

I voted "no" also.  It's a general sort of "no" based upon it being saturday and the wife being away so I really don't feel inspired to do much.

We will have to work hard to break down a classic Italian defence.  A win will cement our place in the top 8 (that sounds amazing, doesn't it?) and give some of the European "elite" a real headache.  UTV

Eh?

Fixed link.

Seems the site didn't like it being directly pasted, only if URL Tagged.

Wiki URLs which end with a ")" are always a problem

It originally died at the hyphen.
