Ratcliffe is spending one of his tax haven days to come and watch us Sunday apparently.

Let's hope it's their 'Nas at Fulham' moment.

*Obviously without the subsequent improvement in their fortunes.

Honestly, I think it's because the media smells blood.  It's not fawning, I think there is so much coverage because Old Trafford us about to be the centre of a big story.  If we beat them at the weekend, there is a pretty decent chance they bin Ten Hag. He's the odds-on favourite to be the next manager sacked in the premier league.  They're already in the bottom half, and a win would see us 9 points clear of them after 7 games.

For the players they have, they're underperforming, and the reality is they won't stay rubbish forever - unfortunately.  We need to take this opportunity to stand on their neck and put Ten Hag out of his misery.

My guess is Unai will have them WELL up for this.  Not only to prove they can compete in Europe and the league at the same time, but this is a golden opportunity to put breathing distance between us and a rival for the European places.

I hate this fixture because I loathe and detest the red filth. Rat face's red being rescinded is bad news but i have a feeling that this time we will beat them.

God I hate them. The ground will be rocking and please Villa let me drive home on Sunday with a smile on my face.

No surprise but Emery said Bailey and Ramsey both doubts

And even without all that, their game / result last night is probably the biggest football story this morning.

The BBC website was wall-to-wall Villa yesterday morning with Liverpool's routine win nothing but a footnote.

Just watching Mark Goldbridge and all their supporters think they have no chance.

I'm worrying about our injuries.

I'm going Sunday and it's the first time I've been against this lot in fucking years, only because I hate this fixture more than any other.  That feeling you get after another sickening defeat, you don't even numb to it, it just gets worse every time.  The bastards.

Floated out of B6 on Wednesday night but I'll feel even better if we beat this horrible lot.

As I expected, the Onana one never felt like anything worth worrying about. I reckon Bailey might be on the bench but I'd expect Philogene to start. I wonder what we'll do on the other side though:

Maatsen starting on the wing?
Rogers out wide and Duran starting?
Buendia starting?

Or as Ads suggested push Tielemans forward and bring Barkley in. I reckon there's a decent argument for any of those options.

I wish I was going to this now.

They are always nervy, but I like the cut of Emery's jib, saying that1 this is a bigger challenge than Wednesday. Keep everyone on their toes.

They will want another basketball game, we must resist and stay controlled.
