Whilst I remember, it was nice of Serge Gnabry to reprise his 'playing for Albion' performances. Good lad.

Yep, especially the greed in the first half instead of the simple square to Kane. I couldn't see that stopping out if he had chose the correct option.

That, I think, was the key moment in the game. If he'd squared that to Kane, it's a goal and they probably beat us.

We just need to make sure that this is just another step on our journey and not the peak.

Indeed, I saw a Newcastle fan in the comments underneath highlights saying they wish us well but hope its not like their CL campaign last season where they smashed PSG and then it was all downhill from there.

It's nice to have their support but we're not them, we're better.

What's really magic is that there's no away leg to give us the opportunity to fuck it up. We won. That's it. Move on. Incredible.

That said it will be important to follow up with a good performance on Sunday.

I said this last night to my mate, it's great. Stick one on them then run off, this new format is ace.

West Ham fans continue to take the fact that they didn't offer enough for Duran, really well!

Haha! Yet at the time lots of them were lauding the little dildo and that twat off The Apprentice for not being held to ransom, and slagging Villa for our unrealistic demands.

Out in cyprus and typically at my hotel ive had one wolves fan and one baggies fan. They saw my villa towel and then they just looked away quickly. I could tell they were absolutely gutted at our win last night 😂

There was a great short lived piece in the fanzine way back titled "They nearly played for Villa". This wil be the West Ham version no. 1 for years to come.

This will never make it into VP as a banner, but it's there in my mind.
