I can’t think of a word strong enough to describe that performance last night.
Elite. Magnificent. Magical. Perfect?

All I know is that I am incredibly proud of the team, the club, the manager and the fans.
It was incredible night.

Absolute prise to Carlos who was my MOTM. I really don’t rate him, but he was  absolutely brilliant last night. Why can’t he be like that all the time?

Finally, a word on the stadium.
Villa Park was absolutely stunning.

The pre match build up, the lights, the  new strip lighting, the music , the flag, the noise.
It was breathtaking and a credit to every single person connected with Aston Villa.

There is no better place to watch football, than our cathedral.
We are the envy of so many.

Spot on, mate.

Absolutely on top of the world today. Knackered, but joyous.

Knackered, voice has gone but an unbelievable performance and victory.

I know it was expensive to go to the game last night, but anyone who was there will never forget last night, brilliant.

We will talk about this game for the next 20 years +.

Thank you Mr. Emery and the owners for returning this club to our rightful place amongst the European elite.

Are we Bayern's Rapid Vienna?

Don't get how Diego Carlos can be so dreadful against Ipswich, but excellent against Bayern, Arse and Man City?

The defence was magnificent throughout.
Bayern we’re always going to find a way through, only to be met by Emi Martinez!

You might as well not bother, you have a valid excuse.

So if we put out a strong side vs bologna and can get a win that puts us on 9 points. If we can qualify asap then we can rest players for the league games

Puts us in a real strong position if we can win the next one

Or, in reality we try and win more to finish in the top eight

After last night's result we should definitely be thinking of top 8. I don't know how Emery does it to be honest. Any moment you think things might be starting to slip and he takes things to another level.
