They're a great team in a shit league. That's all they are. We'll probably give them too much respect in the first 20 minutes and then we'll remember that we can play a bit too. One of Ollies great nights in Europe hopefully.

A shit league isn’t really true is it though? Them, Leverkusen who won the Europa League, Dortmund who were Champions League finalists. Leipzig are very strong, and Stuggart pushed Real pretty hard.

Yeah, it really isn't a shit league, particularly the top end.

A strange one the Bundesliga. Germany have been in 8 World Cup finals so have got something going on. Bayern have been a giant in Europe for 50yrs but we could be playing them at a good time. This could be a massive scalp for us it we could get a win.

Im being a bit pedantic but Atalanta comfortably beat Leverkusen in the Europa final

You are absolutely correct! Sorry brain fade on my part, but yeah Europa League finalists. I guess the overall point is there’s some pretty strong sides in the league.

We have every chance of beating them.
Just need the players to step up to the plate and get stuck in.

I never thought when I watched Juventus beat us way back in 1983 that it would be another 41 years before we'd be back at this level. I just hope we do ourselves justice. We've earned the right to be there & should fear nobody.

The place will be rocking.

So looking forward to the game tomorrow night - for me there danger comes from the wide players, if we can contain them and don't give them the freedom of the park in the midfield, we could do very well tomorrow, hopefully Mr. Emery will have a brilliant tactical game plan.

When I look back to us winning the European cup and then losing to a brilliant Juventus team the following season, it only seems 5 minutes ago - how quickly time goes.

Enjoy every second of tomorrow evening, it could be one of those evenings, where fans say in 20 years time "I was there when we beat Bayern Munich"

Drinking beforehand and my mate is desperate to hear the Champions League theme tune. What time do I need to arrive to ensure that we will be in the ground on time? About midday?

Half an hour should be sufficient I would think. Let's face it, we get fireworks and flame throwers for Bournemouth at home so goodness knows what we'll get tomorrow.

Obviously you need to factor in the likely club fuck up in getting everybody in on time.

If we play anything like we did Sunday we will get beat.

If we defend like we have in most games we’ll probably lose. We just have to start working harder and better on the defensive side - too many players aren’t tracking runners, are switching off. It’s frustrating because we have so much going forward.
