Rogers to Bailey who turns him one way and turns him the other…Watkins, it must be. 1-0 us….or 3-1 them.

I wonder if Rapid still have that "your nightmare returns" banner for us to borrow.

It is written in the stars. Don't ask me what. It' a secret that I can only tell you after the match.

I do not see us getting much from this, we are not on form. It will be a great night until the game starts.

We also have to start getting our excuses in for the annual loss to Manure next weekend. I’ll start us off…players knackered after the Bayern match. Referee was shit. Would have bossed it had SJM been playing. Same goes for Kamara, Mings and anyone else that hasn’t been in a Villa shirt for a long time.
Seriously though, I’d play Maatsen at right back. Don’t think we have anything to lose given our other options.

Absolutely.

Are any London Villans watching this in the Yak Shack or whatever it's called in Elephant & Castle?

I know we didn’t play well today, but we’ve played 8 games this season in all competitions, record so far, WLWWWWWD, Reservations about some players aside we kind of are on form.

Look at who we have been playing, look at the last 3 games, awful against Wolves 1st half, crap against Wycombe and today as bad as I have seen an Emery team.
Carlos up against Harry Kane? Shudders.

We are, but in some ways we’re not. We’ve managed to get the results we’d expect for the most part, which in many ways in admiral. But I doubt anyone watching thinks we’ve hit top gear yet. We play well in patches, but can be quite poor at times.

I get that we haven’t hit the heights of the best games of last season, Brighton, West Ham, Arsenal, Man City at home etc, i know we havent played well in 2 or 3 of the games for parts of the games, but if if 6 wins and a draw out of 8 games isnt form, im not sure what is.
