For all the criticism of Onana he's been better than Ramsey. He needs to do more second half.

Surprised people are disappointed in the performance. This is what I’ve seen every game with this line up and then we get stronger when the subs come on!

Yeah, we're always pretty crap first half this season.

Ramsey did very well in the build up to the goal.

I genuinely don't know how you people can have televisions in your homes. My stream just delivered an ad that used 'holiday' as a verb and nobody did anything. It's a fucking scandal.

Onana a bit under par today.

Watching him walk inside our penalty area as the Ipswich player moves past him to shoot and score is a first for me. His goals are hiding some below average performances. Right now I'd rather see Barkley playing there. At least Barkley is awake.

There’s some truth to that. The one thing I’d point to is Onana walked into our side whereas we’ve seen other new signings being introduced more carefully. Emery talks about players understanding the process and how he wants them to play. Look how long it took for an experienced player like Tielemans. So Onana is learning on the job so he’s going to make some mistakes. He’ll only get better as other players have. Kamara for me is still the senior of the two players in the Emery system.

Just because you see every time doesn’t mean it’s not disappointing.

True but a lot of people have been in denial about Onana before today!

Ramsey isn't the same player playing with his back to goal. His strength is as a blessed ball carrier. He's doing nothing of that under these tactics.

Sometimes Onana’s defensive play is excellent, but he has days where he’s a bit casual.

Yep. Not much else though. Onana was involved in Watkins goal too but still needs to do more.

I don’t know what a lot of people are saying. But he’s been great at points, but has stuff to work on too. Not that surprising.

We've had a good start to the season, but we've made very hard work of it against 5 of the current bottom 7.

We seem to upgrade or downgrade our game to whoever we’re playing

Denial? He's been excellent at times this season. He's a great addition to the squad.
