I think part of it with Barkley and Maatsen is they’re still bedding in and adjusting.

I’d like to see Emery rotate more for games we should be confident of winning. Especially with such a big CL on the horizon. Obviously don’t want too many changes, but had he picked say 2 for from Barkley for Onana, Maatsen for Digne or even Duran for Ollie we still should have enough about us to see the job through. We ran out of steam by the end of the season (or the MON effect as it’s also known) due to injuries to key players. Need to make sure we protect as many as possible over the course of year. Still it’s Emery and he prioritizes the league above everything, so hopefully in a couple of hours we are sitting in 2nd.

I would have picked those three but on merit.

I think at the moment the better idea is to start games like this strong, and make changes as early as possible. The top 9/10 teams are pretty close at the moment. We don't get all 3 points here and we're at risk of dropping to 9th the next week.

I think I only know Tuanzebe from their team, unless, is their Delap the infamous Delap of the long throw?
What about Southgates love child Kalvin Phillips?

Exactly. Potential banana skin here.

Why am I forced to watch a load of ancient history propaganda for a boring midtable clash starting over 2 hours away?

Big day for Bailey, hasn't got going yet this season and we need him to start today. Think Watkins and Rogers will have too much power for the likes of Tuanzebe and O'Shea. 4-1 win

Help the aged.

Rory is 49 now. He was born on my 6th birthday

Yeah, but the years since about 2010 have gone so fast I think they are the equivalent of dog years. So 2010 was only 2 or 3 human years ago.

As Emery said, we qualified for the Conference by 1 point, the CL by 2. You don't fuck around with league games.

Players who are good but not consistent that always rip us a new one number 256.  Jack Clarke.
