Yeah, same here. On that BBC podcast Richards does with Shearer and Lineker, they showed the Father Christmas thing again. I can't think of anything worse than that, not even Hitler.

What did he have to say about it?

Rumours he was supposed to have been a bit of an Everton fan.
Anyway, he didn't have a lot to say after 1945.

Like Everton, he was prone to losing from a winning position.

0-2

Is this the first time, you've gone for a Villa win Legion or is it a typo?

Whats the worst team we could pick?

Gauci

Kosta
Bogarde
Swinkles
Maatsen

Philogene
Barkley
Buendia
Young
JJ?

Duran

Even that should be enough.

Well, Olsen would be worse than Gauci, so, that.

What's happening with him? I can't imagine he's happy to not be even making the bench.

Man City play their cup game tomorrow too which means they'll only have had two sleeps since their last game. Three sleeps is the usual minimum between games. Everyone is bullying City just now, it seems horribly unfair.
Gutted for em....

This is one competition too many for us this season. Whatever happens I hope it’s dignified.

Olsen hasn’t been in a squad yet has he?

I'm sure I read that he's out with a head injury. If true it must be pretty bad to be out that long.

We’re going to have to rotate our squad with the number of games we’ll be playing this season. This is one of those games where we should play the least number of first team starters possible

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has conceded the Carabao Cup is low among his priorities this season - but insists his side "are going to compete" in the tournament.

Villa face League One side Wycombe in the third round on Tuesday (20:00 BST).

"It is clear the priority is the Premier League," said Emery. "Thirty eight matches [and] through it we have to get our first objective - try to be in the top seven and be consistent in playing in Europe.

"The second most difficult is the Champions League and then we have to try to find something important in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.

"The FA Cup is maybe more important than the Carabao Cup, but the Carabao Cup is a trophy and we are going to compete.

"Of course I am going to change some players but I am going to prepare a plan to win and to get a good way in this competition. [That's] in case we can get through three matches and get an opportunity to fight for a trophy."

Didn’t he get a concussion injury in a pre-season game? I don’t think I’ve seen his name around the squad since.

He was in the most recent training pics I was looking at.
