Was it not at Wycombe where our subs were playing a game with chewing gum on the bench and Micah Richards got into it with the fans behind the dugout? If so, it'll be nice to go down as a unified and well-oiled Villa team instead and hopefully give a better account of ourselves.

That Cock Richards has a lot to answer for.

We have had some right arseholes over the years at Villa but as Club Captain he takes the biscuit.

To bw fair to richards hw did come to speak to the fans once where it got heated. I think lescottwas the bigger prick and he is never welcome back here

I hold Richards and Lescott in the same disdain personally. Grim days! As I say, hopefully we can give a much better account of ourselves this time.

The three Brummie amigos - Gabby, Richards and Lescott - all senior professionals, leaching off the club and playing a big role in getting us relegated.

Yeah, same here. On that BBC podcast Richards does with Shearer and Lineker, they showed the Father Christmas thing again. I can't think of anything worse than that, not even Hitler.

I gave that podcast a whirl a while back and lasted literally less than 30 seconds because that big twat's laugh was getting on my tits.

In terms of making a repetitive, repulsive noise that makes you want to hack your ears off to make it go away, he's worse than Coldplay.

That FA cup game at Wycombe was a new low for us. Players couldn’t give a shit, subs pissing about in full view of the Villa fans sitting just behind the dugout, fans giving the players some real stick on the walk from the changing room to the coach - serious anger from the fans towards the team, there’s a few Yow Tube clips of it. The only light relief was Pat’s french mate who came along with us and was hurling abuse in French at Garde from about 10 yards behind the touchline.

I'm not sure if the below is the footage you're talking about, or if it's Emery at half time against Wolves on Saturday:

That’s the one - I think it’s the only Villa game where Darren hasn’t asked for a selfie with a player after the game. It was that bad

Dont risk any first teamers please. If we lose we lose.
Frankly with the strains on players being a focus these days I think this cup needs a revamp, U21s and similar.

That sounds like an utterly dreadful idea, the sort of thing arrogant Man U fans come out with.

This is our best chance of winning a cup, and has been a crucial part of our history. I've no wish to turn it into a new version of the Windscreens Shield. We should be able to rest a few and still get through, though.

Anyway, I would go with something like:

Gauci

Nedeljković
Bogarde
Carlos
Maatsen

Barkley
Onana

Buendia
Broggio
K Young

Duran

That's assuming that none of Philogene, Cash, Kamara or Mings are available. Pick a strong bench in case we are struggling, including Martinez in case it goes to penalties.

Oh I would love to see Emi shithousing the Wycombe penalty takers. I’d almost take the draw now just for that prospect.
