Despite the goal this has been our worst performance of the season so far.

To be losing is nothing short of embarrassing

Rogers should have done better there.
should have just hit it instead of controlling it

It hasn't been that bad.

I think we desperately need a new cb

To replace who? One of our two England internationals or our Spanish international?

To compete  with either one so we can stop leaking so many goals.

I blame Onana there personally

Our defense has been crap ever since Kamara went down, so there could be something to that.  Not that Onana is bad or anything, but maybe we just need that solid DM to solidify everything infront of the CBs?

It’s only four games in.

We have played very well but for two bonkers lapses.

We will still win.

Rogers needs to work on his final decision making.

I know mate but even four games in losing at home to everton is awful. Im trying to stay positive but this has been really really poor today

Poor first half despite having most of the ball.  Rogers gets into some great positions and lacks that end product, part of the process I guess.  Pace is lacking all over the pitch for Villa, including with the ball by moving it quicker.

That was why we love, and hate, football. One side is far superior to the other and batters them, and are somwhow losing.

There's more goals in this for Everton if they're brave enough, so I am happy for them to park the bus 2nd half.
