Too early for a decision I know, but I wonder if a big public memorial service will be held and where?

It did for Matt too by the time he’d finished. That was a great story about Maradona wanting Gary’s shirt after the Super Cup Final in 1983 and Villa’s kit man not allowing it!

Condolences all for Gary Shaw.
It was touching to hear Emery say it was another motivation to win in Champions League today for Shaw.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but it's a great read. Had no idea Maradona asked for Shaw's shirt!

I guess I knew this news was coming but I was still shocked yesterday and it is a blow for the whole villa family. Just so sad and tragic, especially with the symbolism of our Champions League campaign.

Rest easy Gary Shaw

Watched the TNT programme about the 1982 team today and never took much notice as I probably took it for granted before, but only seen the last 20 minutes and now realised what it meant to me personally, especially seeing Gary Shaw

Appropriate that our number 8 gets the first goal back in The European Cup.
