Both Gary Shaw and Brian Little were my favourite players when I was a kid. Christ knows how good he could of become if he hadn't suffered with those injuries.

Such a bloody good footballer.

Get well Gary.

The rumour has been confirmed  - he's in a coma following a fall last week. Thoughts, prayers, fingers crossed, the lot.

Awful news. Echo the sentiment. Would love to have seen him play.

Too young to have seen him play but drank with him a couple of times and he is a lovely fella and obviously a real Villa legend.

Hope he pulls through.

Spent the Fulham play-off with Gary and he was a really nice guy - always a footballing hero but a good man as well. Really upsetting news
