Us and Spurs are a decent shout to be on TV as PL sides away to lower league sides. Walsall and Wimbledon are the others i'd choose. They'll probably choose boring games instead though.

Just imagine how angry The Powers That Be would have been if Man Utd had to deal with an away game at Barnsley instead of a home game. In the third round of the League Cup.

Probably best set up a massive, easily provable conspiracy to risk destroying the whole billion pound industry just to be on the safe side.

Was it just me, or did Les Ferdinand engineer Newcastle avoiding Chelsea right at the end of that draw?
Les is not that clever, so it’s just you😀

The League Cup has been won by a CL team for each of the last 10 years. Just saying…….

Having gone to the trouble of working it out, I've just remembered they're all televised this year.

As for main games, I could just about understand choosing Liverpool vs West Ham. If they select any of the Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea ties they are boring as fuck. Which they definitely will because they are.

What was the point of the draw when Newcastle have already won the trophy this year .

According to the Beeb, "And that's the lot! Some huge ties in there. Chelsea v Barrow, Manchester United v Barnsley and AFC Wimbledon v Newcastle are some good ones."

Well all that made me feel uneasy.  Dawson could see the numbers there were only six balls he was given his directive during the break.
