We're on a par with these mugs, bodes well for the season.
Winning it, second at a push you reckon?

Never been so glad to see half time. Whole game was all over the place. Late start, pauses, so many misplaced balls. Match badly needed a reset

I think it's better stop start so Arsenal don't get into a rhythm.

Beyond that early Saka shot they've created nothing.

Key for us is to take a chance on the counter as we will create more on the break in second with some of the runs Rogers is doing.

Getting Maatsen on will help with that..

Ned is switching off at times.
Don't be picking on the new boy from the off. How about encouraging support. Help him find his feet.

Yeah Paul, leave him alone, don't you know Ned reads H&V at half time. He'll be gutted and all confidence drained now.

EDIT: I see PWS beat me to it.

Rogers and Tielemans have been superb that half. Most of the rest good but Watkins looks way off it. I think we’re doing well
Bailey as well.

He's bound to say that, his old man hates us.

Rogers has gotta be close to an England call up on the back of this, best player on the pitch by a long way.
I think Carsley is at the game. I've said for a while that come this time next year he'll have had his first cap.

I think he's doing really well and the rest of the players are definitely trying to protect him, no ones making tight passes to him. Be really good minutes for him...

Other news though, the Lambrusco is going down a treat. Another bottle and I'll be dancing around a handbag.

Don't agree on Tielemans, our midfield is being bypassed. Can't break their press at all. Watkins offering nothing as an outlet either. Rogers has been best player on the pitch, I think we will see likes of Duran and Ramsey early in the second half.

He is, that's what made me think this must be putting him in the mix.

I love how often the fact we basically stopped Arsenal from winning the league last season has been mentioned around this match. Much more fun than the Emery had a point to prove narrative.

Carsleys face looks like my ball sack after a swim.
