Heskey / Gabby / Barry all started the match against Spain shorly after Heskey joined is the one time I can find three starters.

I thought Rashford so it’s clear who is being discussed was underwhelming last night.  Had many touches and crosses , a few good cross in to be fair , but should have made more of things when on the ball.
Second half he was moved mainly to right side of attack and wasn’t too impactful.

Rogers on the other hand was superb.

See for me Rogers barely had a kick for the first 20/25 minutes whereas Rashford and Bellingham carried all the threat down the left for the first half.  Final ball was lacking quality wise but unlike Friday night at least the ball was consistently being crossed in.  Rogers definitely had a v good last 30 mins against a visibly tired defence.

Felt the two idiots on commentary were desperate to lambast Rashford whilst not mentioning Bowen or Lewis-Skelly - perhaps hiding from the ball as they did would have been the way forward for Rashford

Didn’t agree with Rashford being parachuted back into England squad so quickly but at least it’s given the press a scapegoat to ‘blame’ for 2 perfectly adequate victories

Agbonlahor should have more international caps.

Totally agree with that and saw and felt the same . Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon. Lee Dixon apparently played for Arsenal as a full back about 30 years ago quite what he knows about the modern game.
He was rather basic saying Marcus must cross it into the box as Latvia defenders will make mistakes.

"If Dixon plays for England, Dixon plays for England, Dixon plays for England so do I"

He was a shit player, his habit of playing safe inside made Matty Cash look like Cafu. I remember we saw him in his car once on a coach going down to a London game, the coach nearly tipped over with the rush of people to one side to throw him the wanker sign.

Even Arsenal fans couldn't stand him. I remember being in with the away fans when they played a pre-season friendly at Molyneux in 1995 and had never seen an entire fan base giving one of their own players so much grief.

Argentina v Brazil midnight UK time - it’s a real shame this doesn’t get more coverage over here even on delay replay . It’s on premier sports whatever that is ?

It’s a prestige fixture and thought these days a platform would pick it up .

Martinez will be in nets tonight.

They'll qualify before they've kicked off if Bolivia fail to beat Uruguay. Nil-nil at half-time.
