Digne in French squad. No Kamara or Disasi.

Hopefully he won't get too much game time and will enjoy a few days back home.

Has France ever liked the Villa?
Of course. They even named a band after us.

Of course. They even named a band after us.

They also named their second city in honour of our crest.

You don't think Rashford will get the call?

He's not really done enough yet to justify a recall, has he?

Rashy gets the call!

The big news comes as much from the absences, as from those who have got the nod. Ollie Watkins isn't in this squad, which is a huge surprise, but he did pick up a knock in Europe midweek.

Konsa and Rogers have also been called up and will also be players to watch on international duty.

Rogers will definitely be in the senior squad.

Indeed he has and rightly so ! Good call Dave!

I read earlier that Tuchel has made a long list of over 50 players that he's going to 'whittle' down to 25 (or whatever the squad size is).

Watkins deserves to be in ahead of Solanke who has barely been fit.

But he's fit at the moment. Whereas Watkins is injured.

Oh I think Emery has steeped in as well. Watkins has been openly saying before announcements (but before his injury ) he was hoping to be included in England squad

So yes best for Club that Ollie to rest and recover.

curtis jones shouldn’t be on england squad he would not get anywhere near the french , spanish , german midfields there must be a lack of talent for midfielders with he and henderson being included.

And the plodder who goes by first name Big .
Dan Burn
How is Mingsy not there on what basis ?! now i’ve had a full look at the squad!

Big Dan Burn is a left footed centre back.
Hes no where near as good or cultured as Mings.

And Ty is playing champions league football and shown he’s capable at international level previously.

Tucksel has talked about leaders and professionalism of Henderson well Mings is up there for that.

Ian Maatsen and Lamare Bogarde have both been called-up to the Netherlands U21s squad

Andres Garcia called up to the Spain U21s for the first time.
