Martinelli played full 90 mins on Sat so if Cash has any form of niggle i would throw Kosta in to combat his pace rather than move Konsa out to bring in Carlos.
Other than Cash - same starting X1 as West Ham, with potentially the same subs.

Need Digne to be on his game with the cheating / diving Saka.

Onana, Tielemans and McGinn to swarm all over Odegaard and Rice

Bailey to torment Zynchenko

Really fancy us here

We need a SJM reducer on Saka in the first 5 minutes. He will then end up sulking for the rest of the game.

There's no way that Emery is going to give Ned his first premier league start against Arsenal given how nervy he looked on Saturday

I'd put Konsa over there if we had another RCB worth his salt to cover for him.

And then McGinn wil be on a yellow for the whole gane.

How about Konsa Pau and Digne  forming a back three and Mattsen getting forward
There’s also chance for Onana to drop back into defence when needed

So 3 to not mark anyone as Havertz plays as a withdrawn centre forward and leave the flanks open for their 2 most dangerous players, brilliant.

Nope, tactical switch.

Interesting switch, too. Allowed us to get more attack-minded players on the pitch. It's not a switch I'm sure we'd have been able to make if we still had Luiz and no Onana. Onana and Tielemans look so assured mopping up and doing the simple passes, you can get loads of attackers on.

West Ham's rotational fouling was annoying, but there was a distinct lack of any bullying either in the 50/50 or via the ling ball. We're a big bunch of late.

McGinn hadn't had a great game by his standards, same as Ollie. I think everybody is going to have to get used to being subbed a lot more often. Both for their own good in terms of managing minutes to avoid injuries, but also the for team's benefit if they've been a bit below par.

Yes, i think McGinn in particular being on the left at the moment, will be vying with Ramsey for who starts and who is brought on. Would of thought McGinn will start again in Saturday, but wouldnt be totally shocked to see it flipped the other way. Same with Digne and Maatsen, fast attacking start then shore up??

Carlos had his best games for us v Arsenal last season so he might be ok. Hopefully Cash is fit though.

They are going to be dominating the ball so likely we will be dropping deep and hitting Rogers and Watkins on the counter. Id drop Bailey for this one and have McGinn on right and Ramsey on left. We can bring on likes of Bailey and Duran in the second half.

HydraForce Hydraulics Ltd, at 250 Aston Hall Road, B6 7FE, is opening its car park for weekend Aston Villa matches & donating the proceeds to Birmingham Children's Hospital. It's £15 per car (card only), fully secure with CCTV and guards. There is around 300 spaces.

Paul Henstock, from HydraForce, tells me: "If successful it will be a good sum of money going to BCH. Going forward if this does work well, we are also looking to donate a percentage to more local charities" The company will take a small % to fund 2 extra secruity guards.
